History

Louis G. Mitchell has worked in the Entertainment Industry for over Twenty-Five Years. He started his career as Marketing Director of the Record Company "Neworld Media/Records". Owned by Noel Paul Stookey of Peter, Paul & Mary. They received nominations for Grammy Awards, Dove Awards and numerous commercial awards via their animation studio "Neworld Animation".

He then started "Henhouse Productions" to produce concerts throughout New England. He produced concerts for such artists as: The Grateful Dead, Dan Fogelberg, Johnny Cash, Barbara Mandrell, Arlo Guthrie, Merle Haggard, John Denver, Peter, Paul & Mary, Paul Winter Consort and many others.

He then moved to California to begin his Film Career. He has worked in all aspects of film production. In Post Production he has worked in several Companies including Pacifica Digital, Devonshire Studios, Beverly Hills Video Group and Chase Productions. Recordings and Feature Films that he has been involved in include; "Poison", "The Time Machine", "Sound of Music" (Remix), "Godfather" (Remix), "The Blues", "Witchcraft 666", "American Family", "Planet of the Apes", "Flashframe" and many others.

In 1999 he started Representing Producers and Film Companies for Theatrical and Ancillary Licensing. Companies he has Licensed products for include; Infinity Entertainment, Navarre/Brentwood Communications, New Line Cinema, MGM Television, Mill Creek Entertainment, CBS Television, C-Cube Microsystems (LSI Logic), Imagination Worldwide, Hollywood Select.

Education

Mr. Mitchell enrolled in Film School at Los Angeles City College and received an AA Degree in Cinematography. He has continued his education at UCLA by taking Cinema Classes in Film Production, Producing, Post Production and Marketing for Independent Films. He is Certified in "AVID" Video Editing and Pro-Tools Audio.
